George and Christine didn’t grow up in Bergen County. They found it, fell for it, and eventually made the decision that changed everything — they crossed the bridge and never looked back.
George went to Monsignor Farrell. Christine went to St. Joseph by the Sea. Different schools, same orbit — they found each other through mutual friends, and George asked Christine to his senior prom.
Eleven years later, he took her back to the exact same place and asked her to marry him.
Intentional. Sentimental. They don’t do things halfway.
Christine’s father owned Acme Marble — a multi-generational stone and granite company whose work is embedded in some of New York’s most iconic buildings. Christine grew up watching him transform raw materials into something remarkable.
She went on to study at the New York School of Interior Design. Then fashion. She brings the designer’s eye and the practical details — the vision of seeing yourself in the home.
George shares that eye. Together, they see what a space can become — not just what it is.
In 2020, a conversation with Terrie O’Connor at a family gathering lit a match. George pursued his license. Then COVID hit. Their second daughter had just arrived.
George spent months driving from Staten Island to Bergen County, learning every street, every school, every neighborhood. Their third daughter was on the way when they made the call. They sold their Staten Island home — their very first sale — and moved to Hillsdale.
There was a routine that crystallized it: walking their daughter Evelyn to pre-K every morning, then taking the other two down to the downtown for coffee. The walk. The shops. The people who waved. That morning routine is how George knew Hillsdale was home.
For Christine, the moment came differently. “Once we started making friends who have the same love of community that we have — that’s when I fell for Hillsdale. We had lost that sense of community in New York. Here, we found it again.”
Christine joined the business because she wanted to be a resource for the community she was already part of. As PTA president at Meadowbrook Elementary and a stay-at-home mom who knows Hillsdale inside out, she was already the person neighbors called. She’s available during the day — meaning clients can see homes before the evening rush, before the weekend crowds, before the competition shows up.
George and Christine work especially well with couples — first-time buyers, young families navigating the process together. “We can relate to the process,” Christine says. “We’ve been there.” Their three daughters come on showings, bringing energy that makes families immediately feel at ease.
Trust + Action. That combination is rare.
“They made it easy.” “They were always there.” “They knew someone for everything.” “It felt like working with family.”
George got his license after a conversation that changed everything. He went full time and never looked back.
Hillsdale isn’t a market to them. It’s where their daughters go to school, play sports, and grow up.
George always dreamed of helping Staten Islanders cross the bridge. Now he lives it daily — helping clients on both sides find their next chapter.
Residential, commercial, design — they handle more than most agents because their clients need more.
The right neighborhood, not just the right house. They’ll tell you what the street is actually like, which block to be on, and what to watch out for. No fluff.
ResidentialPriced right, staged well, marketed hard. Christine’s design eye and George’s network mean your home gets seen by the right buyers — and sold on the right terms.
ResidentialSmall offices, retail, boutique commercial — NJ and NY. George also helps business owners sell their businesses when it’s time for their next chapter.
Commercial · NJ & NYChristine studied at NYSID and grew up in the design world. She helps buyers see themselves in a space — and helps sellers stage it so buyers can’t imagine leaving.

“George immediately impressed me with his warm, friendly demeanor and knowledge of the local real estate market. He helped me find a new home for my family while being extremely patient throughout our months-long search. Once we found our new home, George listed our current home and really showed his extraordinary sales skills. I would've never tackled this huge life-changing event without him.”
“Five stars to George. He brought his knowledge, professionalism and character 200% every day until we closed. We had a nightmare of a time with the seller but George was on top of his game to ensure we closed and were owed what me and my wife signed up for. Without him, we'd still be in limbo.”

George and Christine didn't just choose Hillsdale — they earned it. They spent years researching, driving the streets, walking the downtown before they sold their Staten Island home and made the move.
What drew them here is the same thing that keeps families for decades: a sense of community that doesn't feel manufactured. Christine is PTA president at Meadowbrook Elementary. George coaches softball and tee ball in town rec. Their daughters walk to school. This is not a market to them — it's home.
The downtown has a real walkability — shops, restaurants, a train station that runs on time with plenty of commuter parking. The Stonybrook Swim Club is a Hillsdale institution. On a summer evening it feels like half the town is there — which is probably accurate.
George has served on the Bergen County Committee and made a run at starting a local chamber of commerce, because he believes in small business and the fabric of this community. The hidden gem restaurants, the local spots, the neighbors who become best friends — Hillsdale has all of it.

Most agents chase the deal and move on. George and Christine stay involved. Their clients call them six months later, a year later — and they pick up.
With backgrounds in design, construction, and commercial spaces, they spot layout issues, value-add opportunities, and potential that most people walk right past.
